CLINICAL SIGNS THAT AID IN RADIOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS

  1. Bradycardia with hypotension: cardiac cause
  2. Bradycardia with hypertension and cheyne-strokes breathing: intracranial cause
  3. tachycardia with hypotension: bleeding
  4. Unequal pupils: uncal herniation.
  5. Pinpoint pupils: Pontine hemorrhage and opiate overdose.
  6. Tachycardia, desaturation/hypoxia, chest pain, hypotension and ECG (sinus tachy/RBBB/S1 Q3 T3 pattern) and high D-dimer: pulmonary embolism.
  7. Chest pain, Diaphoresis, hypotension (inferior wall RV), hypertension, normotensive, ECG (ST elevation), regional wall abnormality in echo and raised cardiac enzymes: MI.
  8. Raised D-dimer levels: pulmonary embolism
  9. High lactate: ischemia
  10. High TTG (transglutaminase) levels are seen in celiac disease.
  11.  Hypertriglyceridemia with acute pancreatitis can have normal amylase levels.
  12. Very high SGOT and SGPT is suggestive of acute hepatitis.
